SAT - Huntress (FKA Curricula) | Admin Onboarding Overview

This document ensures that admins are well-informed and prepared for the successful rollout and ongoing maintenance of the SAT program, ultimately enhancing your organization's cybersecurity awareness and compliance.

Introduction

Welcome to Cyvatar’s Security Awareness Training (SAT) in partnership with Huntress! This document is designed to provide you with all the necessary information and resources to ensure a smooth transition and successful implementation of the SAT program.

For Admins: What to Expect in Huntress (FKA Curricula)

1. Accessing Huntress Admin Dashboard

  • Login Credentials: You will receive an email from Huntress to create your login credentials. The email will come from: notifications@alerts.mycurricula.com. The email subject will be "Welcome to Huntress Managed SAT!" and the body will look like:

  • Dashboard Overview: Once logged in, you’ll find an intuitive dashboard that provides access to various administrative functions.

NOTE: Your Learners will NOT need to create a login and will not have access to the admin dashboard.

2. User Management

Cyvatar assists with User Management as a part of your Cyvatar subscription by adding or removing users upon request. You are welcome to make these updates yourself in the Huntress interface, however you are not required to.

  • Adding Users: Easily add users via CSV upload or manual entry.

  • Assigning Roles: Assign appropriate roles (e.g., User, Admin) to your team members.

3. Training Modules

  • Pre-Configured Modules: The Cyvatar team will set up your SAT program with pre-configured modules tailored to cover essential security awareness topics.

  • Custom Assignments: You can also create custom assignments if needed or work with your Cyvatar team for any custom assignments as appropriate.

4. Reporting and Analytics

  • Progress Reports: Cyvatar will provide monthly reporting as a part of your Cyvatar subscription with user progress and completion rates. You are welcome to view the reporting within the Huntress interface if you’d like, however you are not required to as Cyvatar will manage this on your behalf.

  • Monitoring Progress: Track the completion status of assigned training modules.
  • Compliance Tracking: Ensure your organization meets compliance requirements through regular monitoring.

5. Designating a Primary Point of Contact


To ensure the smoothest possible experience for your learners, we strongly recommend designating a primary point of contact within your organization. This person will act as a liaison between your learners and our support team, helping to streamline communication, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure that important updates or actions don’t get missed.

This individual should be someone who is familiar with your internal processes and has visibility into your team’s use of our platform. They will:

  • Coordinate with our team on escalated support needs or troubleshooting.

  • Receive key updates or notifications from us (e.g., feature rollouts, service alerts).

  • Help facilitate implementation activities (as needed)

  • Help facilitate user management

Having a single, consistent point of contact not only helps reduce confusion but also ensures your team is getting the most value from our services.
